Why do I believe in a pre-tribulational, pre-millennial rapture? Because four key doctrines in the Bible reveal God’s plan for the future.
1. Imminence–Christ May Return at Any Moment, and No Creature Knows When that Moment Will Be (Matthew 24:36).
2. Rescue and Resurrection–Christ will Rescue and Resurrect Believers before Wrath (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Thessalonians 1:10).
3. Tribulation–God Will Judge the Earth and Its Inhabitants for Seven Years (Daniel 9:23-27; Revelation 12; Matthew 24:1-51).
4. Millennium–Christ will reign for a thousand years on earth (Zechariah 14:1-7; Revelation 19:1-20:6).
Based upon those four points, we must coordinate all four of those points from Scripture so that they all make sense together. I have created a diagram below (click on it to enlarge) showing the general outline of the future.
